At the age of 17, Pastor Steve came to believe in the saving and healing work of Jesus, and accepted Christ into his heart at a Young Life Camp in upstate New York. From that time on, Pastor Steve has dedicated his life to living out the calling of the gospel and has committed his time to reaching and growing new disciples of Jesus, with over 20 years of experience as an ordained minister. Steve earned a B.A. in Religious Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, an M. Div. at Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Duquesne University, specializing in comparative theology. Steve has years of experience as an adjunct professor, teaching Biblical Studies & Theology, is widely published, and sits on the editorial boards of multiple peer-refereed theological journals. Steve and his wife Rebecca are excited to see the movement of God in their lives and the lives of those around them, serving Jesus and his kingdom.

Chris began his work at Moorings in the summer of 2021, and is delighted to help the congregation gain a fuller glimpse of the glory of God through music.
