Each month, Moorings offers opportunities to support local community missions with food and clothing needs. Plus, special offerings are received throughout the year for identified needs.
Local Needs
Donations can be dropped off at the church:
- Canned meats: chicken, tuna, salmon
- Canned fruit & vegetables
- Dried pasta & beans
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Oatmeal
- Evaporated or shelf-stable milk
- Household toiletries: toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, detergents and soap
Special Offerings
Moorings has opportunities to support local and global mission ministries through special offerings twice a year:
- Easter Mission Offering
- Christmas Mission Offering
At Moorings, we support local community organizations with volunteers of all ages, financial donations from our annual budget, special mission offerings and monthly in-kind donations to meet basic needs.
Our church currently has a focused connection with the people of Guatemala and Haiti. We support specific ministries through mission trips and give to ministries that share the love of Christ in word and deed.
People like you permit us to offer programs internally and to reach beyond our walls. You are the church.
