Middle school youth are welcome at Moorings where they will develop lasting relationships through fellowship, Bible study, mission work and while participating in youth gatherings and attending annual retreats.

Sundays

Begin in worship with your family at 10:00 a.m., then join your friends following the Response to God’s Grace for study. Students stay with their families on the first Sunday of every month to participate in worship and the sacrament of communion.

Middle School Fellowship

Middle school students (sixth-eighth grade) gather for fellowship, games ,and Bible study on Wednesdays during the school year. We are currently meeting from 7:00-8:15 p.m. in the Youth Center.  Please Contact Alicia Rowland at (239) 213-5208.

Confirmation

Confirmation studies are now underway for eighth-graders and high school freshmen. Classes run through May, and students will present a Statement of Faith during a special worship service upon completion. Contact Alicia Rowland at (239) 213-5208 for more information.

High School Fellowship

High School students gather for dinner, fellowship, games, bible study and fun on Sundays during the school year.  We are currently meeting 6:00 -7:45 p.m. Contact Alicia Rowland at (239) 213-5208.

Middle and high school students regularly come together for outings and mission work. Join us for events like a Universal Studios Fellowship Weekend, Montreat and Cedarkirk retreats and when guest speakers share their stories. Plus, there are opportunities to praise God through music and recreation.

Montreat Youth Conference

Montreat Youth Conference is held on July 9-17, 2022.

Montreat is a unique gathering of young people from all over the country for a week of study, worship, and recreation. Cost is $675 per student; a $100 deposit reserves your spot. Registration is first open to students who are currently active in the life of the church.

Universal Studios Fellowship Weekend

Moorings middle and high school youth are invited to a fellowship weekend in Orlando on Jan. 28-30 2022. The $200 fee includes the cost of lodging in a Universal resort for two nights, transportation and a ticket to Universal Studios them parks. Contact Alicia Rowland.

Winter Retreat

Each winter, the Moorings Youth are invited to attend a three-day retreat. Watch for information about the retreat to come.
