Moorings is thrilled to welcome Rev. Dr. John Guest, internationally-acclaimed preacher, who will deliver a special sermon on Sunday November 17th at 10am!

Attendees are invited to meet Rev. Dr.  Guest for a Q & A session and light refreshments in Moss Hall immediately following the worship service.

Dr. Guest was born and raised in Oxford, England. He is a graduate of Trinity College/Bristol and ordained a minister in the Church of England, before coming to the U.S.A. in 1966. He served as Senior Pastor and Rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Sewickley, PA for twenty years, and then as Senior Pastor at Christ Church at Grove Farm in Pittsburgh’s North Hills for fifteen years.

Throughout his career he has been involved in outreach beyond the church from the university campus to the business community, always challenging individuals to make a positive impact in the world where they find themselves.  His commitment and drive to bring a message of hope has made him a sought-after speaker.  His travels have taken him throughout the United States and around the world having spoken to nearly two million people, face to face. Rev. John and his wife, Kathie have lived in Sewickley, PA for over 50 years, and are the proud parents of four daughters, .Dr. Guest currently serves as Minister at Large at Christ Church at Grove Farms in Sewickley PA.
