Renée began at Moorings in June of this year as a temporary placement to cover for Tricia Rowles while she is on sabbatical. She has recently moved into the Executive Assistant position due to that vacancy and is now full-time.
Originally from Tennessee, Renée has been in sunny Naples for almost 30 years. Her work background includes owning a successful retail jewelry store, working at several non-profits in Donor Development, Fundraising, Event Planning and Volunteer Management. Renée went to Austin Peay State University (TN) and Florida Gulf Coast University and studied Communications and Human Services.
Renée has been a Christian all her life and is blessed to be on staff here at Moorings.
Tricia began her work at Moorings in March of 2018. She feels blessed to share her love of God through the relationships she develops within the congregation and community while performing her job duties.
Tricia takes pride in serving Moorings as the Administrative Support Assistant and Event Planner. She is the coordinator of the church calendar, and her creative posters add an artistic flare to our bulletin board, television monitors, door signs, and bulletins. She works diligently with all the church’s committees to not only schedule their meeting space, but to also acquire all the details needed to set up the meeting room on the date requested. Besides being the event planner for all things church related, she also serves as the coordinator for any outside groups renting the Moorings facilities. Her event planning skills and her administrative support to these committees and organizations, have been instrumental to their success.
Tricia is a local graduate of Naples High School and went to St. Leo University, in northern Florida, to study Hotel Management. Prior to her position at Moorings, Tricia brings with her over 25 years of experience as a Director of Catering in some of the biggest hotel chains around the world.
Tricia and her retired Air Force Veteran husband, Rubin, have been married for over 30 years and reside in Cape Coral. Due to her husband’s 20-year military career, they have moved many times and have called such places as Germany, Washington, Alaska, and Virginia home. They share two beautiful grown children and four grandchildren. They enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle of boating, fishing, bike riding, and traveling the campgrounds of America in their RV.
