At the age of 17, Pastor Steve came to believe in the saving and healing work of Jesus, and accepted Christ into his heart at a Young Life Camp in upstate New York. From that time on, Pastor Steve has dedicated his life to living out the calling of the gospel and has committed his time to reaching and growing new disciples of Jesus, with over 20 years of experience as an ordained minister.
Steve earned a B.A. in Religious Studies at the University of Pittsburgh, an M. Div. at Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Duquesne University, specializing in comparative theology. Steve has years of experience as an adjunct professor, teaching Biblical Studies & Theology, is widely published, and sits on the editorial boards of multiple peer-refereed theological journals.
Steve and his wife Rebecca are excited to see the movement of God in their lives and the lives of those around them, serving Jesus and his kingdom.
Renée began at Moorings in June of this year as a temporary placement to cover for Tricia Rowles while she is on sabbatical. She has recently moved into the Executive Assistant position due to that vacancy and is now full-time.
Originally from Tennessee, Renée has been in sunny Naples for almost 30 years. Her work background includes owning a successful retail jewelry store, working at several non-profits in Donor Development, Fundraising, Event Planning and Volunteer Management. Renée went to Austin Peay State University (TN) and Florida Gulf Coast University and studied Communications and Human Services.
Renée has been a Christian all her life and is blessed to be on staff here at Moorings.
Chris began his work at Moorings in the summer of 2021, and is delighted to help the congregation gain a fuller glimpse of the glory of God through music.
Chris is passionate about creating vibrant and engaging worship, and in that capacity takes a leadership role in the planning of weekly services. He also serves as the principal organist of Mooring’s Sterritte Family Organ, and directs the semi-professional Chancel Choir. Chris also serves as the Artistic Director of Moorings’s Hyacinth Concert Series , which features internationally-renowned performers each season through several concerts.
Dr. Dekker has degrees from Hope College, Central Michigan University, and the University of Notre Dame, and has concertized throughout the United States and Europe. Prior to his position at Moorings, Chris served as the Director of Choral Activities at Hope College as well as the Director of Music at churches local to his hometown of Grand Rapids, MI.
Chris and his lovely wife, Lena, have three children, and enjoy family activities, boating, traveling, business, and all things active.

Alicia has worked with the children and youth at Moorings for over 15 years. She has a passion for sharing the love of Christ with children of all ages, and for helping people connect with each other and through their shared faith. One of her favorite aspects of her job is taking students on retreats which helps them to unplug form their daily lives and dive deeper into their relationship with Christ and each other.
As the Director of Christian Education for Children and Youth, Alicia works with the Children and Youth Ministry Committees to create safe and engaging environments and opportunities for faith formation. She also works with the Missions and Worship Committees to ensure children and youth are involved in all aspects of discipleship.
Alicia received here undergraduate degree in Child and Family Sciences from Florida State University in 1997 followed by graduate work in Education at Mercer University. In 2019 she became a Certified Chrsitian Educator in the PCUSA.
Alicia and her husband Scott are Naples natives and have raised their two daughters as part of the Moorings Family. They enjoy traveling and all things FSU!
Tricia began her work at Moorings in March of 2018. She feels blessed to share her love of God through the relationships she develops within the congregation and community while performing her job duties.
Tricia takes pride in serving Moorings as the Administrative Support Assistant and Event Planner. She is the coordinator of the church calendar, and her creative posters add an artistic flare to our bulletin board, television monitors, door signs, and bulletins. She works diligently with all the church’s committees to not only schedule their meeting space, but to also acquire all the details needed to set up the meeting room on the date requested. Besides being the event planner for all things church related, she also serves as the coordinator for any outside groups renting the Moorings facilities. Her event planning skills and her administrative support to these committees and organizations, have been instrumental to their success.
Tricia is a local graduate of Naples High School and went to St. Leo University, in northern Florida, to study Hotel Management. Prior to her position at Moorings, Tricia brings with her over 25 years of experience as a Director of Catering in some of the biggest hotel chains around the world.
Tricia and her retired Air Force Veteran husband, Rubin, have been married for over 30 years and reside in Cape Coral. Due to her husband’s 20-year military career, they have moved many times and have called such places as Germany, Washington, Alaska, and Virginia home. They share two beautiful grown children and four grandchildren. They enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle of boating, fishing, bike riding, and traveling the campgrounds of America in their RV.
Rossana Galt is a new addition to the team as of February 2024.
She loves being part of the Moorings and brings additional experience and success to this incredible team and congregation.
Rossana attended parochial schools through the 12th grade in Peru and Florida and embraces the MPC Fellowship and Worship. She feels blessed to be able to serve and follow God.
Rossana attended Florida Atlantic University receiving her Bachelor’s of Social Work and Masters of Public Administration. In the past she has worked in multiple nonprofit organizations such as Covenant House, Family Central, Camelot Community Care and Love in The Name of Christ.
Rossana has been living in Naples since 2005, when she relocated from the East Coast of Florida.
She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and the outdoors.
Erika Arroyo-Tello is a new addition to the team as of March 2023. She brings more than 18 years of experience in accounting working with construction and property management firms bringing much knowledge and expertise to our Finance department.
Erika is available to assist with financial matters, general administrative and operational topics, HR, and other helpful things she has learned over the years. She is willing to lend a helping hand with anything that will help Moorings continue to succeed in its mission. Erika moved from Peru 22 years ago after finishing 4 years of college and has undergraduate studies in Hotel Management from the University of San Martin in Lima. She has a blog where she writes poetry in Spanish and loves music, reading, and traveling the world with her wife Aidee.
Tom Sletto just began as Director of Bell Choir Ministry this September, 2025. He is excited to lead this exceptional congregational bell program to the next level.
Tom received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, and his Master of Arts in Music from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN.
In addition, he holds 45 additional coursework credits dealing with music and education topics. He has served as Director of Music at four different churches in Minnesota, Indiana, and Iowa.
Eight years prior to his retirement in Naples, Sletto was Assistant Professor of Music Education at Drake University, Des Moines, IA.
As a part-time position at ArtisNaples, Tom enjoys serving as Usher in Hayes Hall hearing our fabulous Naples Philharmonic and various traveling performances.

Mia began her work at Moorings in the Fall of 2024 as the Alto section leader, and is now proudly stepping into the role of Music Assistant. Mia is excited to serve the congregation as well as the greater Naples community through song.
As Music Assistant, Mia works alongside Director of Music, Dr. Christopher Dekker, to facilitate the esteemed Chancel Choir’s rehearsal process. Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education, Mia is pursuing a career in theatrical Music Direction. (Ask her about Musical Theatre if you have a few hours to spare!)
In her free time, Mia enjoys writing, drawing, baking, and transcribing her favorite songs into choral arrangements.
