Rev. Dr. Pablo R. Diaz began his work as the Interim Pastor at Moorings in January of 2022. He is excited about helping the church grow and expand its ministry in the Naples community. 

Pablo is passionate about preaching practical and inspirational biblical-based sermons that help people live out their faith through words and actions. He enjoys leading the congregation in fulfilling its purpose to connect, engage and support people through worship, fellowship, programs, and spiritual care. 

Dr. Diaz has degrees from New York University, Andover Newton Theological School, and Drew Theological School. Prior to his position at Moorings, Pablo served as the Interim Pastor at St. Andrews Presbyterian in Dunedin, Florida. Before interim work, he served for seventeen years as the Vice President of Ministries for Guideposts. 

Pablo and his wonderful wife, Elba, have two adult children. He enjoys tennis, traveling, writing, family time and the beach.

Summer joined the Moorings Presbyterian staff in the spring of 2023 after working in a wide variety of industries – ranging from product manufacturing, real estate, to interior design. 

In her current role, Summer assists the pastor with daily operational needs of the church. Additionally, she creates the weekly bulletin, the Moorings Matters e-blasts, and the quarterly Moorings Line magazine.  She also works as a liaison between the pastor and the congregation, overseeing memorial and baptism services, pastoral care arrangements, and general communication updates.

Summer received her undergraduate degree in Communications from Wake Forest University and her Masters in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University with a focus in Marketing. 

She enjoys being a part of MPC, and is so excited to be a part of such an amazing community!

Chris began his work at Moorings in the summer of 2021, and is delighted to help the congregation gain a fuller glimpse of the glory of God through music.   

Chris is passionate about creating vibrant and engaging worship, and in that capacity takes a leadership role in the planning of weekly services. He also serves as the principal organist of Mooring’s Sterritte Family Organ, and directs the semi-professional Chancel Choir. Chris also serves as the Artistic Director of Moorings’s Hyacinth Concert Series , which features internationally-renowned performers each season through several concerts.  

Dr. Dekker has degrees from Hope College, Central Michigan University, and the University of Notre Dame, and has concertized throughout the United States and Europe. Prior to his position at Moorings, Chris served as the Director of Choral Activities at Hope College as well as the Director of Music at churches local to his hometown of Grand Rapids, MI.  

Chris and his lovely wife, Lena, have three children, and enjoy family activities, boating, traveling, business, and all things active.

Alicia has worked with the children and youth at Moorings for over 15 years. She has a passion for sharing the love of Christ with children of all ages, and for helping people connect with each other and through their shared faith.  One of her favorite aspects of her job is taking students on retreats which helps them to unplug form their daily lives and dive deeper into their relationship with Christ and each other. 

As the Director of Christian Education for Children and Youth, Alicia works with the Children and Youth Ministry Committees to create safe and engaging environments and opportunities for faith formation.  She also works with the Missions and Worship Committees to ensure children and youth are involved in all aspects of discipleship. 

Alicia received here undergraduate degree in Child and Family Sciences from Florida State University in 1997 followed by graduate work in Education at Mercer University.  In 2019 she became a Certified Chrsitian Educator in the PCUSA. 

Alicia and her husband Scott are Naples natives and have raised their two daughters as part of the Moorings Family.  They enjoy traveling and all things FSU! 

Tricia began her work at Moorings in March of 2018. She feels blessed to share her love of God through the relationships she develops within the congregation and community while performing her job duties.   

Tricia takes pride in serving Moorings as the Administrative Support Assistant and Event Planner. She is the coordinator of the church calendar, and her creative posters add an artistic flare to our bulletin board, television monitors, door signs, and bulletins. She works diligently with all the church’s committees to not only schedule their meeting space, but to also acquire all the details needed to set up the meeting room on the date requested. Besides being the event planner for all things church related, she also serves as the coordinator for any outside groups renting the Moorings facilities. Her event planning skills and her administrative support to these committees and organizations, have been instrumental to their success.  

Tricia is a local graduate of Naples High School and went to St. Leo University, in northern Florida, to study Hotel Management. Prior to her position at Moorings, Tricia brings with her over 25 years of experience as a Director of Catering in some of the biggest hotel chains around the world.   

Tricia and her retired Air Force Veteran husband, Rubin, have been married for over 30 years and reside in Cape Coral.  Due to her husband’s 20-year military career, they have moved many times and have called such places as Germany, Washington, Alaska, and Virginia home. They share two beautiful grown children and four grandchildren.  They enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle of boating, fishing, bike riding, and traveling the campgrounds of America in their RV. 

Dan began his work at Moorings in the Fall of 2022 and serves the congregation in many different roles, the principal of which being the maintenance responsibilities of the church campus.

Dan is always that friendly face with guidance and direction and one of the first people you see when in the building.

He moved to Florida from Chicago in 2009 to work for Hilton Worldwide as Maintenance Supervisor at the Historic Casa Marina, a Waldorf-Astoria property. 

Dan has worked in the Moorings Community since 2015, first at the Edgewater Beach Hotel, then the Lauretians on Gulf Shore Blvd.  

Having attended parochial schools through the 12th grade, Dan embraces the MPC Fellowship and Worship.

Hope Turner is a new addition to the team as of July 2020.  She brings more than 20 years of experience in accounting.  She loves being a part of the Moorings and brings additional experience and success to this incredible team and congregation.  While Hope took a sabbatical to help assist with family, in July 2022.  She returned May 2023; she feels very blessed to be back to work with such a suburb team!

Hope is available to assist with financial matters and she is willing to lend a helping hand with anything that will help Moorings continue to succeed in its mission.

Hope and her husband, Chuck moved from Nashville, Tn to beautiful sunny Florida in April 2020. They have been married for over 30 years and share two adult children.  Hope loves people, music, water activities like swimming, paddle boarding and boating.

David grew up in Naples and began his television carrier at very early age, 16.  He worked in local TV and radio doing local production and news.  After graduating from the University of South Florida he moved to Atlanta where he worked as a video editor for ABC. 

After moving back to Naples in 2001, he started a production company working with many nonprofit organizations.  Through his company David worked as a producer for the Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speakers Series with notables as President George W. Bush, Mia Farrow, Sarah Palin, P.J. O’Rourke, Tim Tebow and many others.  

Mr. Fralick started working with MPC in 2016. 

David is also the Video and Production Manager at the City of Naples. In the past 16 years he has recorded over 10,000 hours of various city meetings.  

David spends his off time paddleboarding, jet skiing and sky diving.  Most notable you will often see David with his rescue dog “Mac” a 6-year-old Australian Shepard / Border Collie mix. 

Erika Arroyo-Tello is a new addition to the team as of March 2023.  She brings more than 18 years of experience in accounting working with construction and property management firms bringing much knowledge and expertise to our Finance department. 

Erika is available to assist with financial matters, general administrative and operational topics, HR, and other helpful things she has learned over the years.  She is willing to lend a helping hand with anything that will help Moorings continue to succeed in its mission.   Erika moved from Peru 22 years ago after finishing 4 years of college and has undergraduate studies in Hotel Management from the University of San Martin in Lima.  She has a blog where she writes poetry in Spanish and loves music, reading, and traveling the world with her wife Aidee. 

William H. Griffin received degrees from The Ohio State University and has had additional training at the Westminster Choir College and the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. 

Bill is a “retired” teacher who taught choral music for thirty-one years and established successful handbell programs in two Columbus (Ohio) High Schools. He has been a faculty member at the Ohio State University, the Lutheran Theological Seminary (Columbus, Ohio), and Florida Gulf Coast University (Ft. Myers, Florida). In addition to directing music programs at several Methodist Churches, he founded a community handbell ensemble, the Symphonic Handbells of Columbus, and was its music director from 1991 to 2003. Bill was also a professional bassoonist and vocal soloist for a number of years. 

A past national president of The American Guild of English Handbell Ringers (now the Handbell Musicians of America), Bill also served that organization as its Music Editor, it’s Interim Executive Director, and Events Director. He has received that organizations prestigious Honorary Life award, an honor that is reserved for those individuals who have made significant contributions to the art of handbell ringing.  

Active on the international level, Bill has organized two International Symposia and has served as one of the conductors on several of those events including the first one in California, and served as the Chairman of the International Handbell Committee for eight years (comprised of representatives from Australasia, Canada, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, and the USA). In 2016 he received the International Handbell Laureate Award for outstanding service to the international handbell community.   

In 2003 Bill “retired” to Naples, Florida and is currently the Handbell Music Editor for Beckenhorst Press whose main office is in Columbus, Ohio.
