Throughout the year, Moorings hosts several family-focused events that provide opportunities for children, parents, and grandparents to connect with others in our Moorings community, and we invite you to learn more about us by reading the information below or by contacting Alicia Rowland at arowland@mooringschurch.org.
Fall Family Festival – Trunk or Treat
Everyone is invited to decorate their trunks for our annual Trunk or Treat Event. We have bounce houses, games, crafts and our Youth Group has a concession stand. It is fun for the whole family! Watch for details and registration with Alicia Rowland at arowland@mooringschurch.org
Family Movie Night
Invite your friends, bring your lawn chairs, and wear your jammies for our annual movie under the stars. We provide hot chocolate, cookies, and popcorn to enjoy as we begin the Christmas season.
Family Retreat – Camp Cedarkirk
Families have an opportunity to spend time together and to connect with other Moorings Families. Families have their own rooms and enjoying family style meals. Activities include; field games, archery, gaga ball, zip lining, line dancing, playground, crafts, family worship, s’mores and singing by the fire pit.
Young Adults & Couples Fellowship
Approximately once per month throughout the year, the young couples and adults throughout the church gather for a fun time of adults-only fellowship. We’ve done lots of fun things including tiki boat tours of Naples Bay, nights out on 5th Avenue, happy hour at one of their homes, and much more. All are warmly welcomed to join our fellowship, and interested individuals may contact Kelly Murch at kellymurch@gmail.com for more information.
Preschool Parents
During the school year, we host special coffee hour events for our preschool parents, providing opportunities for parents to connect with each other and Moorings leadership
